Description

Dude Theft Wars: Offline Games is an open-world sandbox game in the style of Grand Theft Auto. Participate in a variety of minigames with residents of the city, accumulate cool cars and guns, and get into all sorts of crazy hijinks while you flee from the cops!

Dude Theft Wars: Offline Games is an evolving sandbox game. In the game, you control a person who can do whatever they want in the confines of a 3D city and the surrounding area. You can walk around, drive a taxi (or a "Duber," as the game calls it), buy guns, steal cars, sell cars, run from cops, and more.

If you're an experienced gamer, you might notice that this sounds a bit like Grand Theft Auto. Dude Theft Wars: Offline Wars has gone out of its way to court this comparison. The makers of the game even made the logo for Dude Theft Wars in the style of a Grand Theft Auto logo. It's clearly meant to be an homage of sorts to this classic gaming franchise, if not a downright knockoff.

While Dude Theft Wars might attempt to be an alternative to GTA, it doesn't quite succeed at being a carbon copy of its famous counterpart. Instead, it misses the mark in an almost humorous fashion. This is a pervasive theme that penetrates just about every aspect of the game. Dude Theft Wars has graphics that are almost deliberately terrible, for example. While the developers have done a good job of turning the game's lack of detailed models or textures into an almost cartoony art style, they still haven't fully masked the fact that the game looks significantly worse than old PS2 Grand Theft Auto games, even on the fanciest of modern phones.

That said, part of the appeal of Dude Theft Wars: Offline Games is the zany, half-baked nature of the gameplay. It feels like a buggy mess at times, but it's a fun buggy mess. You'll get lots of enjoyment out of the strange interactions, even if they're not what the developer intended. The game really comes into its own when you start doing weird jumps, causing crazy explosions, and running away from cops, especially if you don't take things super seriously.

While it's called "Offline Games," Dude Theft Wars has a limited multiplayer mode that you can enjoy with your friends. It's a decent amount of work to get going, but it's a good substitute for roaming around in GTA5 if you're strapped for cash and you've only got a cell phone. The limited content in Dude Theft Wars will limit the direction in your play sessions, but the addition of fellow friends will be sure to inspire creativity and give rise to all sorts of outlandish stunts and hijinks.

Overall, Dude Theft Wars: Offline Games is a goofy, interesting game that can help tide the itch for Grand Theft Auto content if you need something free and on your phone. It's got just enough to do to inspire you to explore, and the silly graphics, physics, and world help to keep the tone fun and lighthearted. Given that it's free, it might be worth checking out.

How to play

Dude Theft Wars: Offline Games is full of cheats and secrets. Here are some of the bigger cheats that we've discovered. To enter a cheat, open your phone in-game by clicking the phone icon and select the "cheats.exe" icon in the bottom right corner. Then, enter the code in question to get the result you want!

For clarity, we'll put the cheat codes in quotes. When it's time to enter them, remove the quotes to get your cheat to work correctly.

Entering "dudebolt" (without quotes) will make your character run really, really fast. This is a great cheat for exploring the game world without worry.

Entering "nosforever" will give you unlimited boost while you're in a car. This is a great cheat for getting more air off of your favorite jumps.

"moongravity" changes the way the game's physics engine works and allows you to jump really high. This is a fun cheat for exploring and stunts, but it's even more fun to bounce away from the police in low gravity.

"suppahotspap" turns your outstretched hand into a flaming fist of fury. If you've ever wanted to become the protagonist of One Punch Man, this is the cheat for you. Your melee attacks will turn pedestrians into tomato paste.

To make yourself big, try "dudekong". This cheat is great for roleplaying as your favorite New York-terrorizing monkey or just enjoying life as a giant. "antdude" does the reverse, making you very small.

To alter the game's time of day, simply enter "day", "night", or "evening" into the cheat box. These commands will immediately change the sun's cycle in-game and give you your desired lighting.

"tinydudes" and "giantdudes" can be used to alter the size of everyone except for you. One makes everyone very small, while the other makes everyone very large. These can be combined with "dudekong" or "antdude" to produce some pretty serious differences in mass.

If you ever find yourself bored, try entering "popoplz". This cheat jumps you to a 5 star wanted level, giving you an exciting chase with lots of police adversaries. Try combining this with the other cheats for even more exciting results!

"crowd1" and "crowd99" can be used to modulate the rate at which npcs spawn. "crowd1" ensures that your city will be sparsely populated (for safer street racing and heists) while "crowd99" gives you lots of spectators for your big stunts. Again, combine these with other cheats for best results.

Finally, if you need a car, try "heytaxi". This cheat will immediately spawn a yellow cab that falls from the sky at your cursor location. You can even use this cheat to drop cars on your enemies.

As far as easter eggs go, the developers of Dude Theft Wars love hiding things inside of other things. Try clipping into mountains, buildings, terrain, and even vehicles to find lots of interesting models that don't seem like they should be there. These include a dog, a giant pineapple, and more.
